Major exhibition to celebrate the life of one of Scotland's greatest writers
Event: The media are invited to preview the exhibition – the International Style of Muriel Spark - which opens to the public on December 8.

Background: Muriel Spark is one of Scotland’s greatest novelists. Best known as the author of The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, Spark was critically acclaimed throughout a career which spanned six decades.
This exhibition – the International Style of Muriel Spark – marks the centenary of her birth in 2018 and takes visitors on a journey through the places where she lived and wrote. It features many items never previously seen by the public, most of which are from Spark’s extraordinary archive held at the Library.
